On April 24, 2025, Southern Arkansas University had the privilege of hosting the Arkansas Supreme Court through its “Appeals on Wheels” initiative—a unique and impactful program that brings the state’s highest court directly to communities and campuses across Arkansas. The purpose of this program is to educate the public, increase transparency in the judicial system, and offer students an up-close look at how justice is served at the appellate level. During this powerful experience, I had the opportunity to shadow Arkansas Supreme Court Justice Courtney Hudson . Observing her professionalism, preparedness, and perspective was truly inspiring. In addition to shadowing Justice Hudson, I had the rare chance to meet with each justice individually.
