#2 Television

Victorious is a fun, modern day show all about music, friendship, and high school drama. It takes place at Hollywood Arts, a performing arts school in Los Angeles where super-talented students sing, act, and get into all kinds of crazy situations. This is the kind of show you can watch for hours without even realizing it or just have playing in the background. Victorious first aired on Nickelodeon on March 27, 2010, and ended after four seasons on February 2, 2013. Even though tons of fans loved it, the show got canceled out of nowhere. It originally aired on Nickelodeon, but now you can watch it on Netflix, Paramount+, Prime Video, Apple TV, and Google Play.
Throughout the show, you’ll see best friends sticking together, funny arguments, wild performances, school crushes, and lots of weird but hilarious moments. The story follows Tori Vega, a regular girl who gets thrown into Hollywood Arts and has to figure out how to fit in with all the super-talented students. Along the way, she becomes friends with the tough and dramatic Jade, the super-sweet but kind of clueless Cat, and the awkward but funny Robbie (who talks to his puppet, Rex, way too much). Victorious is all about chasing your dreams while dealing with the ups and downs of high school. By the end of the show, Tori and her friends grow up a little, but they’re still the same weird, talented, and lovable group we met at the start.
This is one of those shows you can turn on anytime and never get bored. Personally, I like having it on while doing homework or cleaning my room because it’s fun and easy to watch. One thing I really like about Victorious is that you don’t have to focus on every little detail to enjoy it—each episode is entertaining on its own. Unfortunately, Victorious ended sooner than fans wanted, with Nickelodeon canceling it unexpectedly.
